7-day Return & 30-day Exchange Policy

To ensure you are getting the best vehicle possible, every Pride Motor Group Certified pre-owned vehicle is subject to an extensive 161 multi-point inspection and rigorous mechanical reconditioning process. We reference the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and proactively replace wear items such as tires (>5/32nds”) and brakes (>5mm) - so you won’t have to. Our reconditioning standards meet or exceed most OEM Certified Pre-Owned guidelines!

Love it or leave it: We want you to be completely satisfied with your vehicle and purchase, for this reason Pride Motor Group offers a “no-questions-asked” return and exchange policy. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your vehicle:

7 Day Return Policy: The original purchaser (as listed on the bill of sale) may return any eligible pre-owned vehicle for a money-back refund within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase or 200 miles driven - whichever occurs first. The vehicle must be returned to the originating dealership, subject to the guidelines as outlined below.

30-Day Return Policy: Within 30 days or 1,000 miles from the date of purchase, (whichever occurs first), the original purchaser may exchange any eligible pre-owned vehicle towards the purchase of another vehicle from the Pride dealership the vehicle was purchased from, subject to the guidelines below.

Vehicle Eligibility (CERTAIN VEHICLES EXCLUDED):

The vehicle must be returned to Pride Motor Group in substantially the same condition as it was delivered to the original purchaser (including with all registration and purchase & sale paperwork), free from modifications, wear and tear, damage, and non-warranty repairs. If, after inspection it is determined by Pride Motor Group that repair of wear and tear or damage is appropriate the cost of which does not exceed $250.00 then the cost to repair will be deducted from the refund amount. If the vehicle is found to have incurred any damage or wear and tear in excess of $250.00, or if any repairs or improvements have been made to the vehicle by a third party that is not a factory authorized new car dealer and service center, then the vehicle will be deemed ineligible for a refund.

The vehicle may (in the sole discretion of the dealership) qualify for an exchange (less the cost of repair) if the total repair amount is less than $1,000.00 and the vehicle has not sustained collision or mechanical damage that could compromise the value, reliability, safety or integrity of the vehicle. Calculation of refund or Exchange (CERTAIN COSTS EXCLUDED) Only that portion of the down-payment applied to the purchase price and proceeds received from a vehicle trade-in* are eligible for a refund or for credit towards the purchase of a new vehicle.

Any State Sales Tax, Registration & Documentation Fees and Shipping charges collected by Pride Motor Group are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND FROM PRIDEMOTOR GROUP, once registration is executed and the purchaser takes possession of the vehicle. The original purchaser may qualify for an abatement of state tax. It is the original purchaser’s sole responsibility to apply for an abatement directly from the applicable department of revenue. Any costs incurred by the original purchaser not paid to Pride Motor Group are the sole responsibility of original purchaser and are expressly excluded from this policy.*If there was a vehicle trade-in applied to the purchase with negative equity, that amount will be deducted from the refund amount, and it will be the responsibility of the original purchaser to remit the difference to Pride Motor Group in order to satisfy their obligation to the current lienholder.

Exclusions: Vehicles designated as: Convertibles, Commercial/Used for work (Such as a truck equipped with a plow or 5th wheel towing), Taxi or Livery use, Previous Rental or Dealer Loaner Vehicles (Over $50,000) and End-of-Lease Buyouts will be exempt from the 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee and will be notated as such at time of purchase. Any aftermarket accessories or protection items that were pre-existing (previously installed) or added to the vehicle by Pride Motor Group at the request of the purchaser, would also be exempt and deducted from the amount refunded. Pride Motor Group reserves the right to withhold refund in its entirety until a valid and unblemished title is presented, and ownership is transferred to from original purchaser to Pride Motor Group. Only 1 refund or exchange to be granted from the original purchase.

Complimentary Alternative Transportation

Alternative Transporation is available at Pride Motor Group upon availability and within 5 miles of Pride Motor Group. Please note that we are limited to the number of pickups that can be accommodated. Depending on the nature of your service request it might not be possible to book a pickup time until the day you drop your vehicle off. Please discuss this with your service advisor when you book your service appointment. In addition, please understand that pickup times can be unpredictable during rush hour or severe weather conditions. Our drivers do what they can to meet pickup commitments but they will not put at risk, customers already picked up or the general driving population. 

Courtesy Loaner Vehicle Agreement

  • Only eligible for customers with multi-day repairs.
  • Driver must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Driver must have and carry proof of full coverage auto insurance (comprehensive) in the loaner vehicle with them.
  • Driver must return loaner vehicle upon completion of repair (same day).
  • Driver agrees to replenish fuel consumed or will result in a $6 per gallon charge.
  • Driver assumes all responsibility for tolls, traffic violations, parking violations or damages to the loaner vehicle while in their possession.
  • Smoking and pets are not permitted in our loaner vehicles. **

Service Loaners are provided when available on a first come basis. You will be asked to provide a valid driver’s license and proof of full coverage auto insurance. Pride Chevrolet can reserve the right to make a copy of your driver’s license and keep a credit card on file.
