Kia Sustainability & Mobility Mission

Kia plans on becoming a global leader in sustainability and mobility, and one of its first major goals is to add 11 electric vehicles into its lineup by the year 2026. Kia aims to have a fully electric product lineup in Europe by the year 2035, and by 2040, Kia aims to have all other major markets fully electric as well. The ultimate goal is to have all global markets be fully electric by the year 2045. On top of introducing the Kia EV9, Kia also plans on implementing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in its lineup beginning in the year 2028.

What to Expect From the Kia EV9

The Kia concept EV9 looks like something from a science fiction film. Even when looking at the photos, it’s easy to see that the EV9 will revolutionize sustainable driving and driving in general. A lot more went into the design than just the intention of grabbing the eyes of East Boston drivers while on the road. The Kia EV9 interior design was inspired by reusing sustainable materials, which include using recycled fish nets for the flooring, recycled plastic bottles and wool fiber for the interior fabric and seating, and vegan leather for other parts of the interior.

There’s plenty more to this Kia EV SUV than just a thoughtful design and an eye-catching look. Here are some of the features you can expect from the upcoming Kia EV9:
