2025 Kia Sorento Interior Design & Cargo Space
With the accommodations inside the 2025 Kia Sorento, you’ll be able to keep your whole family comfortable. Both you and your co-pilot are able to experience optimized seating with heating, ventilation, power-adjustability, and power lumbar. The driver’s seat also offers available power thigh extension and memory settings. Second-row passengers in select trims will appreciate the heated seatbacks they can experience, as well as the sunshades that let them reduce the amount of sunlight coming in. To keep the cabin entertained, you can get everyone looking for unique cloud shapes or airplanes through the available panoramic sunroof, which comes with a power sunshade to reduce glare.
There are three rows of standard seven-passenger seating throughout the Sorento. Six-passenger seating becomes available if you choose a Sorento trim with second-row captain’s chairs. The second row comes standard with one-touch sliding and folding for quick access to the third row and additional cargo space. The 50/50 third-row bench seat can be folded down either partially or fully to allow for cargo-hauling. With all rows upright, you have up to 12.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row. If you lower the third row, there’s between 38.5 to 45 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row. Fold down both rear rows for up to 75.5 cubic feet of cargo space. To conceal items, you’ll appreciate the dual-level cargo floor, which is hidden beneath the rear floor.

2025 Kia Sorento Engine Specs
Power the 2025 Kia Sorento with either a standard 2.5L four-cylinder engine or available 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The standard engine has a 191-horsepower output, plus it produces impressive fuel economy — up to 31 highway MPG. For more energy beneath the hood, turn to the available 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which comes with select higher-level trims and produces up to 281 horsepower. Both engines can be equipped with front-wheel drive (FWD). Sorento trims with the standard 2.5L four-cylinder engine can tow up to 2,000 pounds, while most trims with the turbocharged engine get a towing capacity up to 3,500 pounds.
If you’re looking for performance enhancements, select higher-level trims are available with torque vectoring all-wheel drive (AWD) with a center-locking differential and an 8.2-inch ground clearance — up from a standard 6.9-inch ground clearance. The top-of-the-line X-Pro SX Prestige AWD trim adds all-terrain tires for increased off-roading capabilities and it tops off the towing capacity at 4,500 pounds.
